Description	:	Mary (Lewis) Palmer, age 72, of Guilford, Indiana, formerly of Switzerland County, Indiana, entered this life on July 11, 1945, on Splinters Ridge in Switzerland County, Indiana, the loving daughter of the late, Louis Bradley and Helen Louise (Wright) Lewis. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where she attended school. Mary was united in marriage on September 10, 1963, in Carrollton, Kentucky to the late, Robert "Bob" Jones and to this union arrived three children to bless their home. She was raised in Switzerland County, Indiana, where she attended school. Mary was united in marriage on September 10, 1963, in Carrollton, Kentucky to the late, Robert "Bob" Jones and to this union arrived three children to bless their home. Mary was a former employee for RomWeber Furniture Company in Batesville, Indiana, for five years. Mary attended the Ebenezer Wesleyan Holiness Church in Moorefield, Indiana and was baptized at the Mt. Zion Nazarene Church. Mary resided in the Dearborn County community since 1991. She will be remembered for her love of softball, lawn and gardening and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Mary passed away at 1:25 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018, at her daughters residence in Guilford, Indiana. Mary will be deeply missed by her daughters, Janice Marie Stutz and her husband: Richard "Skip" of Guilford, IN and Connie Jo Stiles and her husband: James of Sunman, IN; her grandchildren, David Gray, Candace Gray, Mary Louise Jones and Thomas Bradley Majors; her great-grandchildren, Chris Jones, Matthew Johnson, Thomas Majors Jr., Jacob Gray, Amelia Gray, Robert Gray, Bryson Grant, Brantley Kernan, Christopher Shipley, Emma Shipley and M.J. Thomas; her twin sister, Martha Lewis of Moorefield, IN; her sister, Betty Lock of Moorefield, IN; her brother, Clair Edward "Pee Wee" Lewis of Tell City, IN and her several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Bradley and Helen Louise (Wright) Lewis; her son, Dana Ray Jones; her infant daughter; her sister, Elma Louise Lewis; her brother, Michael Wayne "Mike" Lewis and her niece, Jamie Lynn Harlow. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 11:00 am, by Pastor David Dicken at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana. Friends may call 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street Vevay, Indiana 47043. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ebenezer Wesleyan Holiness Church or Miller York Volunteer Fire Department. Cards are available at the funeral home.
