Description	:	Adams County Free Press January 2, 1992 Mary Lillian Vicker, 74, of Creston, was born November 27, 1917 in Adams County, the daughter of Charles and Anna Blazek Duben, and died December 26, 1991, at Greater Community Hospital in Creston. On January 15, 1939, she married Arthur Vicker in Adams County. They farmed in Adams County until moving to Creston, in 1949 where they operated Vick's Lunch until his death on February 18, 1966. Read More	Adams County Free Press January 2, 1992 Mary Lillian Vicker, 74, of Creston, was born November 27, 1917 in Adams County, the daughter of Charles and Anna Blazek Duben, and died December 26, 1991, at Greater Community Hospital in Creston. On January 15, 1939, she married Arthur Vicker in Adams County. They farmed in Adams County until moving to Creston, in 1949 where they operated Vick's Lunch until his death on February 18, 1966. Mrs. Vicker and her daughter, Sally continued to operate the business until her retirement in June 1985. She was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #1398. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Kenneth Vicker on December 22, 1967; and one sister, Antonia Patera. She is survived by three daughters, Eileen Mikkelsen and her husband, Jerry, Shirley Woods and her husband, Larry, and Sally Vicker, all of Creston; one son, Thomas Vicker of Naples, Florida; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, William Dubin of Creston: and three sisters, Rose Walter and her husband, Fred of Prescott, Carrie Matthews of Anita and Vlasta Pigsley of Atlantic. Services were held December 30 at Keating Lindsay funeral home in Creston with the Rev. Lyle V. Kuehl officiating. Casket bearers were Jack Adams, Lyndell Hainline, Mark Richardson, Keith Brisdine, Wayne Heckethorn, Rocky Fowler, Don Mosman and Don Smith. Burial was in the Bohemian National Cemetery at Williamson.
