She had lived in Ottumwa 12 years. The daughter of H. and Nancy Rupe, she was born in Davis county, March 5, 1890. She was married to William Leanord in 1910. Frank Leanord, Las Vegas, Nev.; seven daughters, Mrs. Martha Macklin, Mrs. Gladys Wright, Mrs. Patricia Van Horne, Mrs. Grace Simmons, and Miss Mary Leanord, all of Ottumwa. Mrs Lorraine Sipe, Bloomfield, Mrs Dixie Orona, Floris; a sister, Mrs Stella Kleinman, Ottumwa; three brothers, John Rupe, Clarence Rupe and Blaine Rupe, all of Ottumwa, and 22 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and daughter in infancy, five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev Wallace G. Bloomquist of Wildwood Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Rupe, Frank Rupe, James Rupe, Jack Rupe, James Macklin and Clay Sipe. The Ottumwa Courier, June 7, 1950
