Born August 6, 1922, in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Flora Pearl (Henry) Darr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fred Kroll. Mary was a member of the Westernport United Methodist Church. She retired from G.C. Murphy Co, with 40 years of service, having been a bookkeeper. Born August 6, 1922, in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Flora Pearl (Henry) Darr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fred Kroll. Mary was a member of the Westernport United Methodist Church. She retired from G.C. Murphy Co, with 40 years of service, having been a bookkeeper. She leaves behind a sister, Dorothy Hood and husband Edward of Huntington, W.Va., and a special friend and caregiver, Barbara Fisher of Westernport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the Westernport United Methodist Church on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sandy Cowen officiating. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Westernport United Methodist Church Building Fund, 434 Vine St, Westernport, MD 21562.
