Description	:	Funeral services for Mary-Lou Carroll, age 89, of Bowman, ND, formerly of Hettinger, ND, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the Centennial Chapel of the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger. Rev. Ron Olson will officiate with burial to follow in the Hettinger Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers are her grandchildren. All of Mary Lou's great and great-great grandchildren along with all friends and family are honorary casketbearers. Mary-Lou Eastin Carroll was born May 6, 1924 to Clarence and Erma Eastin in Ardmore, OK. She lived in San Francisco, CA where she met and married Earl Carroll on September 10, 1943. She was a homemaker for many years and as the last of her children grew and Earl's health deteriorated, she began working at the Hettinger nursing home. She worked there for twenty-five years. Mary-Lou passed away on September 10, 2013 which would have been the 70th anniversary of her marriage to Earl. She died at Southwest Healthcare Long Term care in Bowman where she had resided for the last eleven years. While there, she received excellent care and was loved by those who cared for her. She is survived by her children, Patrick (Bonnie) Carroll, Terrence Carroll, Bradley (Harriet) Carroll, Judith (Ron) Pris, Michael (Patricia) Carroll, Susan (Dean) Olsen, Connie (Rodney) Wise, Rhonda (Gary) Westphal, Tamera (Michael) Kurtz, Brenda (Alvin) Becker and Shawn (Lisa) Carroll. Along with her children, she is survived by seventy-six grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Fern (Boog) Wadsworth; two special sisters-in-law, Lois Kenitzer and Irene Jacobson; plus many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Erma; two sisters, Carol and Iris; one brother, O'Neil; her husband, Earl; and Grandson, Tyler. Memorials are preferred to the Southwest Healthcare Long Term Care Center in Bowman, ND.
