Raymond Roloff officiated and burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Dows. Mrs. Dockwell died unexpectedly Sunday evening, February 26, 1978 in Spencer, Iowa. She was born Mary Lou Ennis on May 27, 1927 at Cherokee County, Iowa, the daughter of Darrell and Mary Totman Ennis. She was raised and educated in the Spencer, Cherokee and Quinby areas. Raymond Roloff officiated and burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Dows. Mrs. Dockwell died unexpectedly Sunday evening, February 26, 1978 in Spencer, Iowa. She was born Mary Lou Ennis on May 27, 1927 at Cherokee County, Iowa, the daughter of Darrell and Mary Totman Ennis. She was raised and educated in the Spencer, Cherokee and Quinby areas. She attended AIB in Des Moines and after graduation she worked in the State Capitol for some time. On August 14, 1947 she was united in marriage to Lyle Dockwell at Worthington, Minnesota. They moved to Clarion after they were married and in 1952 moved to the Dockwell farm north of Dows where they farmed. In 1974 they moved to town. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dows. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. John (Karen) Butler of Webster City; one son, Mark of Denver, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. Evan (Jane) Lane of Laguna Hills, California and a brother, Robert Ennis of Hudson, Ohio.
