Born Dec. 1, 1942, at Fort Madison, she was the daughter of Jerome and Gertrude Fraise Krogmeier. On July 22, 1961, at St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, she married Daniel Tousigant. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Cindy Lynn Ruth, Zion, Ill., Theresa Jo Ross, Lockridge, and Belinda Lee Tousigant, Brighton; one son, Arthur Tousigant, Fort Bragg, N.C.; her parents, Mount Pleasant; six brothers, Marvin Krogmeier, Rodger Krogmeier, Gregory Krogmeier and Louis Krogmeier, all of Mount Pleasant, Melvin Krogmeier and Orville Krogmeier, both of Salem; one sister, Mrs. Monica (Gene) Klopfenstein, Wayland; three grandchildren and three step grandchildren. The Altar and Rosary Society rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Sunday and a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Beatty-Wilkins Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant. Friends may call as they desire after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral mass for Mrs. Tousigant will be 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Thomas Spiegel officiating. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Catholic cemetery. Memorials have been established for the St. Alphonsus Church or the American Cancer Society.
