On July 30, 1955, she was united in marriage to Marvin Henrikson in Sioux Falls, SD. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls where Mary Lou was a loving homemaker and mother. She loved spending time fishing and camping with her family. Mary Lou also enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Marvin preceded her in death on February 26, 1999. Always cheerful and supportive, Mary Lou's house was always open to friends and family. Grateful for having shared her life are her son, David Henrikson, Sioux Falls, SD; daughters, Sandra Henrikson, Sioux Falls, SD, Jackie Thoelke and her husband, Todd, Sioux Falls, SD, Jennifer Stegenga and her husband, Scott, Valley Springs, SD; grandchildren, Paige and Emma Thoelke, and Courtney and Blaine Stegenga; brothers, Allen Lindstrom and his wife, Sharon, Sioux Falls, SD, Terry Lindstrom and his wife Joanne, Sioux Falls, SD; sisters, Virginia Sheppard, Conde, SD, Verna Kaiser and her husband, Merle, Yankton, SD. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers.
