Read More	Galivants Ferry…Mary Louise Anderson Gasque, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was born in Horry County on December 31, 1921. As a devoted Christian, she was a lifetime member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church. She was a friend to everyone she met, always smiling, with a giving heart she was always doing for others. Mrs. Gasque was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. It gave her great pleasure to cook for others, and as she made the world's finest biscuits and everyone enjoyed the partaking of her excellent food. Mrs. Gasque was the daughter of the late Henry Van Anderson and Mary Clara Thompkins Anderson. She was the wife of the late Blease Clifton Gasque, whom she met as a young girl soon after his return from serving his country in World War II. They were married for forty years. Surviving are her two sons Michael Christopher Gasque of Galivants Ferry, and Douglas MacArthur Gasque and his wife Rebecca Gasque of New Mexico, four granddaughters, Raven Coggins, Maria Landin, Hope Gasque, Jamie Salinas, and six great-grandchildren, Donovan Landin, Alyssa Landin, Brandon Coggins, Brenna Coggins, Atreyu Salinas and Matthew Maza. Mrs. Gasque was predeceased by one daughter, Terry Jean Gasque Graham, two brothers, J.D. and Norman Anderson, and one sister Sadie Anderson.
