Born on June 17, 1928 at Waukon, Iowa, she was the daughter of Dudley and Mildred (Robbins) Hale. She graduated from Olewein High School and then attended Iowa State University. She then attended and graduated from William and Mary College with a BA degree in Distributive Education. She was married to Robert Mosher on June 21, 1952 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Waukon, Iowa with Father MacDonald as celebrant. Mary was foremost a mother and home maker. She currently worked as a Clinical Receptionist and was a volunteer in Pastoral Care at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll. She also volunteered with the St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary, the Blood Mobil, Meals on Wheels, the Kuemper Catholic High School Alumni, and the Carroll County Election Board. Mary was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Church Guild. She was a Eucharistic Minister and served on the church funeral committee as well as the welcome committee of the church. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, golfing, walking riding her bike, reading and playing bridge.
