(Jack) Kelleher, Jr. and Joseph P. Kelleher. Mary attended Lourdes Academy, Ellensburg High School and graduated from Marylhurst College with a degree in Biology in 1950. Mary married Archer Andreotti on August 16, 1950 in Ellensburg, Washington. Mary and Arch had seven children, Patrick (Colleen) Andreotti, John Andreotti, Robert (Linda) Andreotti, Mary (Gail) Wood, Jane (Steven) Smedley, Selena (Gordon) Parhar and Joseph Andreotti. Mary devoted her life to her husband, children, church and community. She attended every school and athletic event in which her children participated, including fundraisers and, when not supporting her children, she was able to attend many of the events Arch coached. With Mary acting as family financial officer, she and Arch were able to put all seven of their children through college on a teacher’s salary. Mary was a devoted member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and supporter of Lourdes Academy until it closed in 1966. She was active in fundraising for the construction of the present St. Andrew’s Church building. Mary was a member of the St. Andrew’s Altar Society, as well as coordinating weddings and funerals with all the wonderful ladies of St. Andrew’s parish who were her dear friends. For many years, she, Arch and Vince Mohan counted the St. Andrew’s Sunday collection. Mary was active in and served as president of the Kittitas County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, co-founder of and volunteer for a local support group for families dealing with cancer, a board member of Kittitas County United Way, a board member of, volunteer and blood donor for the Kittitas County American Red Cross and a board member of and volunteer for Kittitas County Hospice Friends. Although Mary and Arch did little travelling while raising seven children, in later years they enjoyed numerous road trips with Mary’s sister, Margret and her husband, Harley Brotherton They also travelled around the state supporting their grandchildren in their athletic and school performances. Mary died October 1, 2019 in Yakima, Washington after suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease for several years. Although the disease robbed Mary of her memory and ultimately her ability to communicate it was unable to take the essential kindness which characterized her life. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Arch; her parents; sister and brothers; daughter-in-law, Linda Andreotti and grandson, Kyle Smedley. She is survived by her seven children and their spouses; fifteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Mary’s family requests gifts in her memory be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago IL, 60601 or St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. 401 S. The Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Ellensburg, Washington Saturday, October 5, 2019 a 10:00 a.m., preceded by the Holy Rosary at 9:00 a.m., also at St. Andrews.
