On June 28, 1949 she married Kenneth Raymond Sieren at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Sigourney. They lived and farmed in Keokuk County raising their family. Mary Louise returned to teaching and taught at Delta, Keswick, and Tri-County schools from 1966 to 1991. She graduated from William Penn College in 1973 with a degree in Education. She moved to Sigourney in 1993, was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and Quilt Club in Wellman. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents, brother Floyd Seaba, and sister Dorothy Smith.
