Mrs. Taylor was born and reared in this vicinity, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Napoleon Fitzgerald. She was a member of the Beech Grove Christian Church for 40 years. Although she hadn't lived here for a number of years she still had her membership at this church. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Mr. Buck Taylor, who works at Afton; two daughters, Mrs. Branard Ramsey of the Blue Ridge Sanitorium; Mrs. Robert Gwaltney of Cloverdale; two sons, Hunter Taylor, of Covesfield; and Dan Taylor, of Keesler Field, Miss, who is in the Air Corps; two brothers, Messrs. Jimmy and Charlie Fitzgerald, of Roseland; one sister, Mrs. M. H. Dodd, of Nellysford; four half-brothers, Raymond and Tommy Fitzgerald, of Roseland; Tucker and Hoy Fitzgerald, of Lynchburg; one half-sister, Mrs. Clyde Hicks, of Bommer, West Virginia; a stepmother, Mrs. Ella Fitzgerald of Roseland. Pallbearers were: Leslie, Willie and Clinnie Fitzgerald, Bill Wiggins, Casey and Johnnie Taylor. Flower girls were: Miss Frances Pugh, Mrs. John Taylor, Mrs. Lawrence Taylor.
