Pleasanton Pleasanton was shocked to learn of the death of Mary Mauler who died in the hospital at Tulare, California., October 30, 1919 where she was visiting her parents. Remains were sent here for burial, and the funeral was held at the U. B. church last Friday. Rev. Beshore officiating. A large number attended as Mary was well known in the community. She was taken sick some time last spring and went to Rochester for treatment, where she underwent an operation on one of her limbs. She came home... She came home and went to California to visit her aged parents, little thinking it would be her last visit. (She left by train from Kearney on August 25, 1919.) She was born in Pleasanton where she resided until ten years old, when she moved to California. About two years ago she came here to make her home with her brothers. She leaves to mourn, John, Fred, Rudolph, and Maurice Mauler of Pleasanton; Miss Rose Mauler, Mrs. Anna Johnson of Pleasanton; Frank Mauler of Athens, Ohio; Joe Mauler of Gibbon; Albert, Willie and two sisters, Emma and Rose at Tulare California and Mrs. Frieda Gosch of San Francisco. She was buried in the Pleasanton Cemetery.
