Karr passed away suddenly at her home in Skidmore last Thursday, aged 74 years 7 months 13 days. In Hamilton county, Ohio, on February 20, 1844, Mary M. Walker was born. With her father's family she came to Missouri in 1864 and resided on the farm now owned by W. M. Howden, south of town. She was united in marriage on January 1, 1865, to Joseph H. Karr and to this union two children were born, Charles W. Karr, of Skidmore, and Anna... Karr passed away suddenly at her home in Skidmore last Thursday, aged 74 years 7 months 13 days. In Hamilton county, Ohio, on February 20, 1844, Mary M. Walker was born. With her father's family she came to Missouri in 1864 and resided on the farm now owned by W. M. Howden, south of town. She was united in marriage on January 1, 1865, to Joseph H. Karr and to this union two children were born, Charles W. Karr, of Skidmore, and Anna F. Karr, who departed this life July 22, 1900. Her husband passed away some six years ago. In early womanhood Mrs. Karr united with the Methodist church and has lived a faithful life. Besides the son, C. W. Karr, she leaves several brothers and sisters and other relatives to mourn her departure. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, South, Saturday afternoon, October 5, at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Reubin Barrett, assisted by Rev. D. H. Arbuthnot and the body was laid to rest in the Masonic cemetery beside those of the husband and daughter."
