Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this Thursday at Svoboda Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery at Abie. Mrs Lajba, the former Mary Mach, daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Mach, was born on March 18, 1888, in Czechoslovakia. She came to the United States at the age of 18, and lived the balance of her life in Butler County. Her marriage to Mr Lajba took place in Omaha on Sept 11, 1911. They farmed until October 1958, when they moved to Abie. Mr Lajba died in 1959. Mrs Lajba was a member of Sts Peter and Paul Church and Alter Society in Abie. She is survived by a son, Frank J Lajba of Omaha, and four grandchildren.
