They settled in Tama county, and she lived in that community all her life, and passed away at her home in Chelsea on Thursday, April 8. She was united in marriage to Frank Vavra on December 26, 1896. They settled in Tama county, and she lived in that community all her life, and passed away at her home in Chelsea on Thursday, April 8. She was united in marriage to Frank Vavra on December 26, 1896. To this union ten children were born. Mr. Vavra passed away April 23, 1928. On March 25, 1947, she was united in marriage to Lester Vesely. Those surviving are the husband and six children: Mrs. John Sedlacek of Clutier, Mrs. Harry Vander Heyden of Riverside, California; Mrs. William Sichra of Belle Flaine; Mrs. Nate Beadle of Verona, Missouri; Mrs. Frank Siedel and George Vavra, both of Chelsea. Also 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, two brothers, William Dobrosky of Scio, Oregon, and James Dobrosky of Fresno, California, also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four children: Samuel, Mollie, Fred Vavra and Mrs. George Owens, also two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 11 from the Hrabak Funeral home in Chelsea with the Rev. Paul Heath of the Christ Methodist church officiating. Soloist was Dick Gatrile and the accompanist was Mrs. Marie Christman. Casket bearers were: Leland Owens, Fred Sedlacek, Jerry Vavra, John Sedlacek, James Owens and .Charles Vander Heyden.
