Description	:	Mary Marcella Barcus, 86, of Agency, died at 11:35 am January 20, 2012 at the Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield. Mary was born January 22, 1925 to Jesse and Flossie Bonney McFarland. She married Lieutenant Evan "Spark"Selsor on June 18, 1944. He died during Pacific Fleet maneuvers on March 10, 1947. Mary married Leo M. Barcus May 29, 1948. Leo left this life on July 18, 1995. She was a member of the Agency United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, all music, reading, and attending the activities of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by one daughter Mary Lynne Marlay of Agency, IA; two sons Chris Barcus of Livonia, MI, and Dan(Lori)Barcus Garnett, KS; six grandchildren, Bryan(Linda)Marlay, Brad(Jody)Marlay, William Barcus, Amanda Barcus, Mariah Barcus and Brian Mitchell Barcus; three great granddaughters, Kaylen, Taylor and Kylee Marlay; a sister-in-law, Louise Barcus of Ottumwa and a brother-in-law, Jim Selsor of Audubon, PA. Mary will be missed by us all and many more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clarence and Donald McFarland; three sisters, Pearl Riggs, Arlena McFarland and Jean Thompson. Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Lane officiating. Burial will be in Agency Cemetery. Visitation will be open at 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 11 am Wednesday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Agency United Methodist Church or Agency First Responders.
