Born in 1913 to Charles and Margaret Cash Mohler in Rockbridge County, Va, she was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, James W. Mohler, and husband, Robert S. Groah of Vesuvius. She is survived by her son, Robert P. Groah and his wife Betty Jo of Staunton; her sister, Sadie Bradley Moyer and husband Robert of Vesuvius; sister-in-law, Virginia Mohler of Vesuvius; a granddaughter, three great grandsons, a niece, two nephews and many great... She is survived by her son, Robert P. Groah and his wife Betty Jo of Staunton; her sister, Sadie Bradley Moyer and husband Robert of Vesuvius; sister-in-law, Virginia Mohler of Vesuvius; a granddaughter, three great grandsons, a niece, two nephews and many great nieces and friends. Mary Margaret was a longstanding member of the Baptist Church of Vesuvius and Women on Mission. She was a kind and loving woman who had many lifelong friends in the community. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Family night will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington. The funeral will be conducted by Reverend Dan Stanley at Vesuvius Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2004. Interment will follow at the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Miller, Euley Phillips, Lenwood Phillips, Robert Lam, Curtis Cash, Dale Fauber and Buryle Brooks. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Rescue Squad of Fairfield or to the Baptist Church of Vesuvius. Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Fuenral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
