Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank with Father Gary DeRouchey celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Stockholm, SD. Music will... Read More	Mary Andersen, age 69, of Milbank died Monday, March 9, 2015, at Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 12, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Milbank with Father Gary DeRouchey celebrating the Mass. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Stockholm, SD. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with a prayer vigil at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Thursday. Music will be provided by Nancy Johnson and the St. Lawrence Funeral Choir. Casket bearers include Fred Zenk, Derek Zenk, Daniel Zenk, Matthew Trevett, Ed Andersen, and Bruce Granquist. Honorary bearers will be Kathy Madsen, Loreen Hartman, Betty Unker, Judy Zenk, Millie Pederson, Kevin Pederson, and Deb Pederson. Mary Margaret Andersen was born on December 10, 1945, in Webster, South Dakota to Fred and Lily Ann (Krause) Zenk. She graduated from Webster High School. On November 6, 1965, Mary was united in marriage with James Andersen in Webster. They were blessed with two daughters. Mary worked as a CNA at St. William's Care Center and as a cook for the hospital and for State Auto. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing with Jim and cooking. She will especially be remembered for making breakfast for her grandchildren. Mary crocheted many baptismal gowns for her relatives and for St. Lawrence fundraisers. She served on the Election Board for several years. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Mary died on March 9, 2015, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, having reached the age of 69. Left with her loving memory is her husband, Jim, of Milbank; her daughters Deb (Paul) Trevett of Marshall, MN, and Julie Andersen of Fargo, ND; five grandchildren: Kirsten Andersen, Tiffany Morrissette, James Morrissette, Sunny Morrissette, and Nicholas Trevett; and great grandson Noah Normandin. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Marlene, and brother Don. - Mundwiler Funeral Home
