Mary Marie Marshall was born on November 26, 1927 in Lamoni, Iowa to Richard and Ollie (Gravatt) Marshall. Lovett , 88 0f Rochester passed away peacefully on April 15, 2016 at Stewartville Care Center, where she had been a resident since April 2013. Mary Marie Marshall was born on November 26, 1927 in Lamoni, Iowa to Richard and Ollie (Gravatt) Marshall. She grew up on the family farm, attended country school and Lamoni schools, graduating from Lamoni High School in 1945. She attended Graceland Nursing School in Lamoni. Mary was married on January 24, 1947 in Troy, Kansas to Bruce Lovett. Following their marriage the couple lived in Oskaloosa, Iowa where they raised their daughter Linda and made their home for many years. Mary was a homemaker and Bruce owned and operated Bruce's Barber Shop from 1952 until his retirement in 1985. Mary was a past member of the First Christian Church in Oskaloosa and a member of the Vega chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mr. Lovett died on June 23, 1992. Mary moved to Rochester in 2001 to live near her daughter Linda, and her family and was employed part-time at Hy-Vee North in Rochester as a food sample lady. She enjoyed being outdoors and growing flowers in her yard and time spent with family, especially her grandsons. Mary is survived by her daughter Linda (William) Oelke of Rochester and two grandsons, Matthew Oelke of River Falls, Wis., and Andrew Oelke of Rochester and one sister-in-law Rosemary Cadwallder of Los Angeles. She is preceded in death by her husband Bruce and her parents. In keeping with Mary's wishes there will be no services or visitation. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Phhoto and obituary was published in The Post-Bulletin on April 19, 2016 .
