NAGL DIED SUNDAY OF HEART DISEASE Lifetime Resident of County Seriously Ill Since Wednesday Death claimed Mrs. M.M. Nagl at the St. Anthony Hospital shortly before 12 o'clock Sunday night. Mrs. Nagl passed away of heart disease, with which she was taken seriously ill last Wednesday night. The intense heat of the past week contributed to the seriousness of her condition. She had been cared for at the hospital since Thursday afternoon. The body will be removed from the Luft Funeral Home to the family home, 126 South Adams Street, this evening, to rest there until the time of the funeral services. Rites will be at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at SS. Peter and Paul's Church and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Nagl, who was well known throughout Carroll county, where she had spent all her life, would have been fifty-four years old in August. She was born Mary Stangl, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. August Stangl, at Roselle Aug. 5, 1886. After attending Sacred Heart School at Templeton, she worked in a millinery store at Dedham and also clerked in the Snyder General Store at the same place. Her marriage to M.M. Nagl took place June 21, 1910, at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton. Mr. and Mrs. Nagl established their home at Dedham, where Mr. Nagl had a hardware store. They resided there until July 14, 1912, when they came to Carroll to make their home, Mr. Nagl having been in the hardware business since that time. Surviving with her husband are six children: Mrs. W. D. Lancelot (Melvina), Sioux City; Orlando Nagl, Eugene, Ore.; Adella, Lisbeth, Linus and Alvin Nagl, at home; one grandson, Jerold Lancelot of Sioux City; one brother, Fred Stangl of Manning; one sister, Miss Anna Stangl of Hospers; seven half-sisters, Mrs. John Berger (Dora), Mrs. Leo Kuhl (Theresa), Mrs. A.J. Weber (Katherine), Mrs. Matilda Kemper, Mrs. Frank Schreck (Clara), Mrs. Peter Murray (Loretta), all of Templeton, and Mrs. Frank Berger (Agnes) of Arcadia; and three half-brothers, Ed Stangl of Atlantic, August and Bernard Stangl of Templeton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, William Stangl, and one sister, Elizabeth Stangl. Mrs. Nagl was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Church and active in affairs of the parish. She belonged to the Chirstian Mothers Society of her church. Mrs. Nagl's son, Orlando Nagl of Eugene, Ore., will arrive here Wednesday night. Her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Lancelot, of Sioux City, are now at the Nagl home.
