She was born September 14, 1949, in Richmond, VA to Francis and Mary Hite Sr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William "Bill" Butler, her sons William Butler of Hinsdale, IL and Warren Butler of South Orange, NJ, sons-in-law Patrick Szaraz and Michael Murray, grandson Conrad Butler-Szaraz, brother Francis Hite Jr, sister Theresa Hite-Gorman, and several extended family members and friends. She was born September 14, 1949, in Richmond, VA to Francis and Mary Hite Sr. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William "Bill" Butler, her sons William Butler of Hinsdale, IL and Warren Butler of South Orange, NJ, sons-in-law Patrick Szaraz and Michael Murray, grandson Conrad Butler-Szaraz, brother Francis Hite Jr, sister Theresa Hite-Gorman, and several extended family members and friends. Her father, mother, brother Raymond Hite Sr & stepson William Brian Butler preceded her in death. Mary was a long-time resident of Richmond, VA where she graduated from George Wythe High School in 1967. She and Bill relocated to Troy, MI, followed by Lititz, PA prior to retiring in Chesterfield, VA after numerous years working for AMF, Bendix and Ford/New Holland Credit. During retirement, she enjoyed wintering in St. Pete Beach, FL, and spending time with her many family members and friends. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Friday, August 27, 2021, at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road Richmond, VA. At the same location, Memorial Services will take place at 10:00am on Saturday August 28, 2021, with a celebration reception immediately following. Burial Services will follow at 2:30pm at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3311 South Hill Road, Kenbridge, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital under Mary Martha Hite Butler's name.
