She was 74 years, 4 months and 28 days of age. Her demise was due to angina pectoris, and came after a three-weeks' illness due to a light attack of the flu. She was conscious up to the end, falling into a sleep from which she awakened in Eternity. The funeral was held Sunday at St. Joseph's Church in Wall Lake, and she was laid to rest in the Catholic part of the Wall Lake Cemetery by the side of her husband, Alexander Quinlan who passed from this life on Nov. 25, 1899. The pallbearers were Gus Yohnke, John Roberts, O.F. Westrom, James Webster, John Drilling and Frank McShane. Mary McNulty was born August 12, 1854, in La Salle, Ill., and at the age of 22 years was united in marriage to Alexander Quinlan, on April 21, 1877. They made their home in LaSalle until 1885, when they came to their farm home north of Lake View (then called Fletcher), where she resided until the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters and four sons, as follows: Elizabeth, wife of Herman Swanson, Mary, wife of E.W. Scott, John Quinlan, of near Lake View, and James, Daniel and Edward, at home. Also one sister, Anna McNulty, of LaSalle, Ill., one brother, John McNulty, of LaSalle, Ill., and 8 grandchildren. Mrs. Quinlan was a woman of a kind, sympathetic disposition and was esteemed by all who knew her for many excellent qualities of character. She was greatly attached to her family and home, and will be sorely missed in the home circle where her loving presence was always a guide and inspiration. Lake View Resort --- 1/17/1929
