Read More	Little daughter was victim of Influenza Mary Merna only daughter od Walter E and Ida Harrison, was born at Cambridge, Iowa, August 24, 1908, and passed away at Ames, Fenruary 5, 1920. During her early childhood she lived in Bondurant from which place the family moved two years ago to their present home. Her sudden death was due to complications following an attack of influenza. Her illness was short duration and her condition considered serious for only a few hours. She leaves in the immediate family her father, mother and one brother, Virgil, also a grandmother and other relatives. By her winning disposition she made friends where ever she went, and was a special favorite among her schoolmates, to whom her short life may be a worthy example. Her studious habits and close application to school work kept her at the head of the class. She was fond of music and made rapid progress in her musical studies. During her short life she had so entwined herself in the hearts of the loved ones, that she will be sorely missed. They funeral services were held at the home, Saturday at 11:00 conducted by Rev. Main of the U.B. Church at Cambridge. Misses Askilson and Gruber of Gilbert sang” Beautiful of Ssomewhere and My Father Knows” Burial was in Cambridge Cemetery.
