Description	:	Spouse of William B Mrs. Mary Cobean, an aged and highly esteemed resident of the city, passed away at her home in the fifth ward at 1:00 o'clock Thursday morning, February 25th, after a painful illness of several weeks duration. The funeral services were held from the Marion Street M.E. church at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning, The Rev. A.L. Golden officiating and attended by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. The remains were laid to rest in the Mineral Ridge cemetery. Mary Miller was born in Williams County, Ohio, Jan. 15, 1859, and was just past 50 years old at the time of her death. She came to Iowa at the age of 13, and in 1873 was united in marriage with William B. Cobean at Boone and has since made her home here. Her husband died Jan. 13, 1876. She became a member of the Methodist church when a young child and has ever lived a devoted Christian life. She leaves to mourn her death one brother, Henry K. Miller, of this city, and one sister, Mrs. Emma McKelvey, of Bryan, Ohio. Boone County Democrat March 5, 1909
