HER HUSBAND'S STONE IS WHITE WITH THE TREE OF LIFE ON IT. TOO WILLIAM RUCKMAN IS BURIED IN SUMMERVILLE UNION COUNTY,OREGON CEMETERY. WILLIAM MOVED TO SUMMERVILLE IN 1871 WITH. THEIR SON ROBERT DRAKE RUCKMAN AN D HIS SON ELBRIDGE THEY BOUGHT LAND AND RANCHED THERE. THE STONES ARE WITH THEM BOTH NOW. THANK YOU KARL NOLAN .....DELORES ROE UP DATE. APRIL..MAY. 2020. DELORES Note...To date I have not found the cemetery stone for our Mary. It may not have survived the years. I believe there was a stone because markers were very important to our Ruckman family. Mary s husband, William has a stone in the Summerville,Oregon cemetery where he is buried. Other Ruckman folks are buried in the Agency cemetery. I know this information. I have checked with the cemetery record books but they don't show Mary s name. I had a copy of the book page sent to me. During my research I have learned Mary was laid to rest in the old section of the Agency cemetery in 1863. If any one who reads this has information in writing ,records I would be delighted. I have searched. Glad to have this photo of her in our family files. It was located in a gathering of dependents a few years ago as well as the photo of Mary s husband William. It is also thought now that Mary was born in Ohio and not Indiana. I have checked the records of the census for the children . Most say Mary was born in Ohio. William and Mary were married in Green ,Ohio then they began having children three of them born in Tippecanoe, Indiana. Later moving to Iowa. Blacksmithing and Farming was Williams trade.
