Read More	Mrs. Joseph Reiser Passes Away Dec. 16 Mary Mlinar Reiser was born in Ringgold County, Iowa, Jan. 29, 1874 and passed away Dec. 16, 1950 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 17 days. She had been in failing health for the past several months and was taken to the Sacred Heart Hospital at Lynch, two weeks ago where she remained until her passing. When a small child, Mary Mlinar moved in a covered wagon with her parents to a farm twelve miles south of Atkinson. She was united in marriage to Joseph S. Reiser on January 27, 1892 and moved to a homestead four miles south of Butte where they were living at the present time. To this union four children were born, two sons, Dan and Earl of Spencer, one son and one daughter preceding their mother in death, Ray at the age of four years and Clara Counts Jan. 2, 1940. Mrs. Reiser had always been a very active woman, having spent all of her life on the farm. She was a kind, true friend to everyone and always had a ready hand to help and comfort others. She was a wonderful mother and a faithful, loving wife. The memory of her unselfish ministries will be a blessing to her loved ones. One of fifteen children, she is preceded in death by four who died in infancy, her mother and father, four sisters, two brothers one son and one daughter. Besides her loving husband, Joseph of Spencer, she leaves to mourn her passing two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Cora Tasier, Mrs. Pauline Davis, Fred and Joe Mlinar, all of Atkinson, two sons, Dan and Earl at Spencer, four grandchildren, Raymond Counts of Lynch, Mrs. Evelyn McNair and Mrs. Elaine Klasna of Spencer, and Richard Counts of Burwell, six great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. The funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Spencer, Tuesday, Dec. 19th with Rev. Father Michael Condon officiating.
