The last sad rites were paid to the remains of Mrs. F. E. Cellon, nee Miss Murray Scarborough, Tuesday afternoon at Antioch burying grounds, a large number of grief-stricken relatives and friends being present to witness the ceremony and pay the last tribute to the memory of a woman whose life had been one of love to husband, devotion to children and steadfastness to friend. Mrs. Cellon was a native of Alachua county, and first saw the light of day in the vicinity of the place where she was buried a little over thirty-seven years ago. She was a woman of whom it might be well said "to know her was to love her," for her sweet disposition won her friends far and near. In the home circle she was as gentle and patient as could be, being devoted to her husband and children. In the world she was a woman who always turned a listening ear to suffering and in her own noble way would do all in her power to alleviate the sufferings of others. Some eighteen or more years ago she married Mr. Frank Cellon, one of the most highly respected gentlemen in the county, and their married life has been happy indeed. To them has been born five children, three girls and two boys, the youngest child just now being but four weeks old. Mrs. Cellon was a member of the Methodist church, and her Christian life was beautiful in its simplicity, she always evincing a spirit of submission to the will of the Master. The example she set will long be remembered, and will live after her. Deceased was a sister of Mr. L. R. Woods of Atlanta and a neice of Mrs. A. J. DaCosta and Mr. W. N. Wilson both of this city, and besides these she leaves a large family connection to mourn her demise. She died Monday night at 9 o'clock of heart failure and was buried Tuesday afternoon at Antioch, the services beginning at 5 o'clock being conducted at the home by Rev. Mr. Inman and concluded at the grave. To the bereaved ones, THE SUN, in conjunction with other friends, extends condolence in this, their sad hour of trail. One sad incident in connection with the death of this noble woman is the fact that a lovely little boy, just four weeks old, who will never know the love and devotion of a mother, is left behind, but thanks to the kindness of a loving aunt, in the person of Mrs. A. J. DaCosta, this little treasure will have as near the love and protection of a mother as can be given. Mr. And Mrs. A. J. DaCosta and family, Mr. W. N. Wilson and Mr. R.
