Myrtis was born in Horry County, the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Skipper Richardson. Myrtis was predeceased by her husband, Jenkins M. Skipper; a daughter, Loretta J. Skipper; and a grandson, Billy L. Graham. Mrs. Skipper was a retired seamstress of Glens (Heritage) Sportswear of Marion. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Myrtis was born in Horry County, the daughter of the late Henry and Lillie Skipper Richardson. Myrtis was predeceased by her husband, Jenkins M. Skipper; a daughter, Loretta J. Skipper; and a grandson, Billy L. Graham. Mrs. Skipper was a retired seamstress of Glens (Heritage) Sportswear of Marion. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Wayne H. Skipper; a special daughter, Donza Roberts; a grandson, Murphy Skipper, all of Galivants Ferry; a granddaughter, Kaye Vereen and husband, Nate, of Aynor; a granddaughter-in-law, Tonya Graham, wife of the late Billy L. Graham; a step grandson, Mikie Thompson and wife, Erica, of Galivants Ferry; three great-granddaughters, Alexis and Brooke Graham, and Kalee Thompson, all of Galivants Ferry; four sisters, Estelle Lawson, Vick Squires, Nita Belle Thompkins and Julie Anderson, all of Galivants Ferry; many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend and caretaker, Maxine Bellamy of Galivants Ferry. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Henry Altman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
