Boileau, Mrs. Ralph Smith, and Mrs. Paul Smith of this county. "The deceased was the mother of thirteen children, six of whom preceded her in death. There are three sisters, one brother and eighteen grandchildren living. Mrs. Allan joined the Presbyterian Church at an early age in Scotland. As there was no Presbytrian organiztion in Carneiro, she has done active work in the Methodist Church there since 1884. "Mrs. Allan was one of the most highly respected citizens of Ellsworth county, and her death will be deeply regretted by a host of friends."
