It is believed that Mary's mother died shortly after she was born as she does not appear on the 1850 census of Union Co SC. Mary's older siblings were Elizabeth Parr, Jane Parr Vaughn, James Parr, Richard Parr, and Texanna Parr Cudd. Mary married William Henry Bevill. They were the parents of Elizabeth, Dora, Zack, Sidie, William Fletcher, Jedadiah, Larren G, Mammie, and Sallie Bevill.	She was youngest child born to Allen Parr, son of Claiborn Parr & Martha Ivey.
