She had been making her home for the past four months at the Seymour Care Center. Mary was born May 14, 1900 in Appanoose County, their 63rd wedding anniversary. Read More	The Seymour Heraldehnt of Seymour, Iowa died June 25, 1985 in the Wayne County Hospital at the age of 85 years, 1 month, and 11 days. She had been making her home for the past four months at the Seymour Care Center. Mary was born May 14, 1900 in Appanoose County, their 63rd wedding anniversary. To this union four children were born, Leona Marie died in infancy, Genenieve Mincks of rural Seymour, Deloris Darrah of Seymour, and Rowena Robinson of Knoxville, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother, one sister, and one son-in- law. Mary is survived by her husband; three daughters; two sons-in-law. Richard Mincks of Seymour and Don Robinson of Knoxville, two sisters Kay Walther and Frances Rotisky of Las Vegas, Nevada, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also a host of other relatives and friends. Mary was a long time member of the Jerome Methodist Church and attended as long as her health permitted. Several years ago she accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized in the Christian Faith. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Services were held on Thursday, June 27, 1985, at 2:00 P.M. from the Randolph Funeral Home in Seymour, Iowa with the Rev. James Nicholson officiating. Milton Robertson the hymns "The Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art" with Mrs. Iris Merritt, pianist. Pallbearers were Merrill Condra, Charles Figge, Paul McElvain, Terry McElvain, Norman Hefner and John Glenn. Interment was in the Southlawn Cemetery. There was a memorial to the Diabetes Foundation. CARD OF THANKS We would like to thank all of our relatives and friends for the many kind expressions of love and sympathy during the loss of our loved one. Your prayers, cards, flowers, food and donations to the diabetes foundation were sincerely appreciated. A special thanks to the Seymour Care Center for their good care, Dr. Melody Merritt for her faithful treatment and concern and to the staff of the Wayne Memorial Hospital for their excellent care.
