"OBITUARY The death occurred on July 22 at her residence, Clyde Street, Kempsey of Mrs. Mary Philomena Richardson relict of the late Mr. Owen Richardson. Deceased who was 96, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willett of Bellingen, where she was born. Coming to the Macleay when a young girl, the late Mrs. Richardson worked at the late Mr. Harry Tillbrook's Hotel until she married 73 years ago. Deceased who was 96, was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willett of Bellingen, where she was born. Coming to the Macleay when a young girl, the late Mrs. Richardson worked at the late Mr. Harry Tillbrook's Hotel until she married 73 years ago. There was a large family of the union and the surviving members include sons in William (Sydney), Thomas and Alick (Nulla Nulla) and daughters in Mrs. W. J. (Pearl) Delaforce (Grafton), Mrs. H. (Olive) Schmidt (Nulla Nulla) and Mrs. (Bella) Walsh (South Kempsey). Mary, Ellen James, Owen and John predeceased their mother. Brothers of deceased are William (Sawtell), Alick (Macksville) and Phillip (Queensland) and Mrs. A. Box of Fernmount is a sister. The funeral left All Saints Church of England, West Kempsey after a service by Rev. C.H.S. Egerton who also officiated at the graveside in West Kempsey Cemetry. During the Church service Miss Dawn Walker presided at the organ. Four grandsons, Kenneth Schmidt, Bernard Walsh, Pat Richardson and Cecil Spergins carried the casket to its last resting place and Messrs. Harry B. and Jos. T. Walker had charge of the funeral arrangements."
