Her parents settle south of the present Elk City in 1849, halting here on their across the continent. The original homestead is now occupied by Mrs. Fitch's brother, J.A. Bryant. Surviving are her husband, Len; three sons, Lemuel E., Earl A. and Harlan of Omaha; four sisters, Mrs. William H. Gibbon of Crawford, Neb., Mrs. Catherine Mein of Monette, Mo., Mrs. Andrew A. Johnson of Elkhorn, and Mrs. H.K. Mansfield of Omaha; a brother, J.A. Bryant, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Scottish Rite cathedral at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. The Order of Eastern Star will be in charge. Later a Christian Science service will be held in the old family church at Elk City cemetery. The body is at the Fitch & McEachron mortuary. Eastern Star services at the Scottish Rite cathedral, 20th & Douglas Sts., Thursday at 1:30 p.m. under the auspices of Liberty chapter, No. 273, O.E.S.; then to Methodist church at Elk City, Neb., at 3 p.m. Interment Elk City.
