| Description | : | Mary Bivens married Thomas Rogers on 18 September 1820 in Kentucky. Mother of ten children. "Communication was entirely cut off, provisions were very short, and much suffering ensued. Breadstuff had become entirely exhausted. Some painful scenes of suffering occurred, among which we note the removal of Mother Rogers from her deathbed from her home, which was inundated by the rising waters near Ruby station.
