He was given his father's land, where he lived for some period of time before coming to TN. Ezekial d: August 18, 1832 in Wilson Co., TN Ezekial & Jemima Esther Alexander had 8 children: James b. 16 Nov. 1774, Jean b. 25 Feb 1776, Abner b. 10 Aug 1778, Lydia b. 2 Mar 1784, Josiah b. 7 May 1785, John McKnitt b. 20 May 1787 & Ezekial Jr. b. 22 Dec 1789. ref. "Alexanders of Cannon Co. TN" p. 5 These are the descendants of Ezekial Alexander, Jr. who married Mary "Polly" Cooper 8 Oct. 1810 in Wilson Co. Tennessee. Mary "Polly" Cooper, the daughter of Christopher and Permelia Hogg Cooper, is buried behind the old Sanders Fork School in Cannon Co. Tn.
