Description	:	Death of Mrs. Ransome Kile Our city was deeply shocked on Monday, when the news spread over town conveying the announcement of the death of Mrs. Ransome Kile. She had been an invalid for many months and several days before the Death Angel called and claimed her. It was generally believed that she was rapidly recovering, but a change for the worse came and she passed to the Great Beyond on the above date. She had been an invalid for many months and several days before the Death Angel called and claimed her. It was generally believed that she was rapidly recovering, but a change for the worse came and she passed to the Great Beyond on the above date. Mary Powers was born in Providence, Rhode Island April 6, 1937--died Dec. 9, 1907, aged 70 years, 8 months and 8 days. When a child, she came with her parents to Lake County, Indiana, where she grew to womanhood. On October 19, 1856, she was united in marriage to Ransome Kile. Six sons were born to this union, three of whom died in early childhood. Again in 1884 they moved to Antelope county, Nebraska, where they resided until the year 1901, when she and her husband came to make their home in Plainview. In 1864 she was united with the Christian church and became a member of the Plainview Methodist Church in 1893. Her husband, three sons, W.T. Kile of Plainview, L.E. Kile of Verdel and M.L. Kile of Creighton with twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren survive her. A loving wife and mother has gone to her reward. The funeral services were held from the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon and the sermon preached by Rev. Yost, Rev. DeWeese assisted in the service.
