MARVIN LEROY (LUCILLE ANDERSON) JENSEN Lucille Jensen, the daughter of Martin and Margaret Mendenhall Anderson, was born Sept. 27, 1931 at Visalia, CA and died July 27, 1984 at Bishop Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. NE, at the age of 52 years and 10 months. She moved to Iowa with her parents at the age of 5 months and attended Guthrie and Audubon County Schools. She was baptized and confirmed in Our Saviour's I Lutheran Church in Audubon and later became a member of How - man Chapel United Meth deist Church west of Guthrie Center, IA. On Dec. 12, 1947 she married Marvin Leroy Jensen. They farmed in Viola Township until 1961 and then operated the Gardner Store between Audubon and Guthrie Center, until 1971. They moved to Audubon in 1975. The past 5 1/2 years she worked at General Electric Company in Carroll. Preceding her in death was an infant son and an infant daughter: and one brother, Oral Anderson. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Leroy Jensen of Audubon; two sons and their wives, Jerry and Bonnie Jensen of Atlantic. and Douglas and Susan Jensen of Audubon; five grandchildren, Jay, Nichole. Jason, Tobin and Sara Jensen; her parents of Audubon; three brothers, Paul C. Anderson of Bella Vista, AR, H. Gene Anderson of Audubon, and Merle D. Anderson of Eudora, KS; and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Harvey G. Quandt on Monday, July 30, 1984 at First United Methodist Church in Audubon at 2 p.m. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. The casket bearers were Francis Ballou, Darrell Jensen, Marvin Lang, Alton Madsen, Darwin Nissen and Harold Randeris. . .
