She departed this life November 13, 1975, at the Oakwood Manor Home. Most of her life was spent in the Sedan and Edgar areas. She was a very loving wife and mother, as well as, being a very good friend to all who knew her. Mary was united in marriage to Charley Diekmann February 22, 1900, this union was blessed with two sons, Willie and Ernest. She leaves to mourn her departure her son, Ernest; a brother, William Rachow, of Henderson Nursing Home; two sister-in-laws (sic); nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charley; son, Willie; her parents; five sisters; and four brothers. Funeral services were held at the Urbauer Funeral Home in Edgar November 15, 1975, at 2 p.m. Pastor Carter of Edgar officiated. Pallbearers were Byron Kinnison, Delmar Eichmann, Ervin Branstitre, E.O. Watson, Roland Lewein, and Harold Larson. Mrs. Merna Kinnison and Mrs. Carol Penner, soloists, were accompanied by Mrs. Eileen Mikkelsen at the organ. Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, Nebraska.
