MARY BEER **Handwritten at in obit: Feb. 1960 Mrs. Mary Beer, 85, of Burlington, died about noon Friday, Feb. 19, in the North Hill nursing home at Burlington after a lengthy illness. She was born near Bentonsport Jan. 2, 1875, the daughter of John and Lydia Huff Raldolf. She was married April 5, 1899, at Keosauqua to Harry S. Beer, who died a number of years ago. Beer of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Eva Roland, and a brother, George Randolf. Half brothers and sisters also survive. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, and four brothers and sisters. The funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 22, at 2 p.m., at the Burnett-Catcott Funeral home with the Rev. John G. Ballensky in charge. Burial was in Fellows cemetery. Source: Van Buren Co.
