She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends. She was member of First Baptist Church of Holly Hill. Survivors include sons, Joel 'Tim' (Mary Kay) Martin of Mount Pleasant and Marty (Nan) Martin of Marietta, Ga.; daughter, Stephanie (Mike) Giordano of Holly Hill; sister, Rosie (Homer) Hoover of Ridgeville; grandchildren, Lauren Martin of Mount Pleasant, and Adam Martin, Ryan Martin and Leanna Martin,... She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Martin. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 13, at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill, SC, 29059. The celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 14, at Avinger Funeral Home, 2274 Eutaw Road, Holly Hill. Interment will follow in Island Cemetery, Santee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Holly Hill, or the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park #10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
