Read More	Mary Rose Mathiasmeier, Amarillo, Texas, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006. She was born May 21, 1932 in Fort Madison, the daughter of Fred and Rose Werner. She was a resident of Burlington from 1965 to 1974. She had been a resident of Amarillo since 1974. She was a volunteer caseworker for Catholic Family Services and a volunteer chaplain at BSA Hospital. She was member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was an inspiration and the foundation of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frederick and James, and son, Robbie Mathiasmeier. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Kay (husband Jim) Moeller of Burlington, and Sue (husband David) Hudson of Amarillo, Texas; two sons, Mark (wife Terri) Mathiasmeier of Overland Park, Kan., and Tom (wife Colette) Mathiasmeier, Katy, Texas; one brother, Bob (wife Wilma) Werner of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews A prayer service was held at 6 p.m. on Sunday evening, August 13, 2006 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo. Mass and celebration of life was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 14, 2006 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo, where Msgr. Joseph Tash officiated. A visitation and lunch for family and friends will be held at 11:30 a.m., August 26, 2006 at Sacred Heart Roling Hall in Fort Madison. Private burial is at 1 p.m., August 26, 2006 in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Fort Madison, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved son, Robbie. Father Thomas Parlette, officiating.
