Mary was born on April 3, 1925 near Luther, IA, one of nine children to Dewey and Valda (Nutt) Wisecup. She was a graduate of Luther High School in Luther, Iowa. On July 28, 1945, Mary was united in marriage to Harold Carlyle Jagerson in Madrid, and to this union, three children, three grandsons and three great-grandchildren were born. Read More	Mary Ruth Jagerson, 90, passed from this life on Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the Madrid Home in Madrid. Mary was born on April 3, 1925 near Luther, IA, one of nine children to Dewey and Valda (Nutt) Wisecup. She was a graduate of Luther High School in Luther, Iowa. On July 28, 1945, Mary was united in marriage to Harold Carlyle Jagerson in Madrid, and to this union, three children, three grandsons and three great-grandchildren were born. For 56 years, they lived at Sunny View Farm, where she assisted Harold on the farm. As a loyal and dedicated farm wife, Mary would help with various chores and many times milk cows. In a moment's notice, she could easily whip up meals for all the men working the farm. During her earlier years, Mary was formerly employed at several places including the Ordnance Plant in Ankeny; and the Madrid Home and Madrid Schools in Madrid. She was a longtime member of Garden Prairie United Church of Christ, where Mary was formerly active in both the Ladies Aid and Booster's Circle. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed reading, sewing, solving crossword puzzles and making various crafts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Shona (Dennis) Ringgenberg and Vicki (Ronald) Carlson both of Madrid; two sisters, Olive "Polly" (Gene) Harris of Boulder City, NV and Jeanne Brazelton of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Albert (Nancy) Wisecup of Bossier City, LA; three grandsons, Mike (Sara) Ringgenberg of Tacoma, WA, Dirk (Michelle) Ringgenberg of Madrid and Kevin (Robin Van Atten) Ringgenberg of Denver, CO; three great-grandchildren, Brandi, Mandi and Hunter Ringgenberg; and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded into eternal life by her parents; husband of 68 years, Harold C. Jagerson on March 6, 2014; son, Scott Jagerson; two sisters, Doris Robertson and Janet Sandstrom; and three brothers, Bill, Bob and Jerry Wisecup.
