She had been in poor health for the past three years and in March suffered the first stroke. Read More	Columbia City Post, Columbia City, Whitley County, Indiana June 9, 1923 The death of Mrs. Mary Arnett of Cleveland Township took place Tuesday evening at her home and resulted from a stroke of paralysis and complications. She had been in poor health for the past three years and in March suffered the first stroke. She never fully recovered from this and last Friday evening, the second stroke came upon her, affecting her left side and rendering her unconscious. She continued sinking until death ended her suffering. She was formerly Mary Salesman and was born October 8, 1866 in Cleveland Township and at her death was 59 years, 7 months, and 27 days old. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Salesman, preceded her in death. In 1886, she married Harvey Arnett and they were the parents of four children, Mrs. Lewis Dreyer of Washington Township, Laustin Arnett of Cleveland Township, Charles Arnett of Mishawaka, and George Arnett, at home. In addition to the children, the husband and four brothers survive, namely, Henry Salesman, of Thorncreek Township, George Salesman, of Cleveland Township, Jacob, of Gas City, Ind., and Frank Salesman, whose address is unknown. Mrs. Arnett was a member of the Church of the Brethren at Tunker. The funeral cortege will leave the home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon for the Church of the Brethren at Tunker, where services will be held. Burial will be in the Eberhard Cemetery.
