Description	:	Mary Seay Nix, 83, 127 North Woodland Drive, wife of the late Homer Nix, went home to be with her Lord, Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Born in Oconee County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Jeff and Emma Heller Seay. Mrs. Nix retired from Runneymeade Textiles, and was a member of Martin Grove Wesleyan Church. Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Anderson and Dollie Frances Trotter, both of Pickens; three sons, Charles Seay and Rev. Richard Nix, both of Easley, and Robert Nix of Liberty; a brother, Rev. Joe Seay of Greenville; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and a special... A very special thank-you to Dr. Richard Curry and Mrs. Nix's extended family at Harvey's Love and Care. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two grandchildren, Robert Earl Trotter and Vickie Anderson; three brothers, Sam, Walter and James Seay; and a sister, Virgie Heaton. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard Nix officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 to 12:45 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2008, at the funeral home prior to the services. Active pallbearers will be Steve Seay, Robbie Nix, Randall Anderson, Steve Poston, Randall Simmons, and C. Doug Heaton. The family is at the home of a son, Rev. Richard Nix, 222 Walter Street, Easley, SC 29640. Dillard Funeral Home is assisting the Seay family. Published in The Greenville News on January 17, 2008
