Description	:	Based upon her husband William Shearer's obituary it appears that this grave marker refers to his third wife, "Mrs. Mary Martin." They wed on 26 Jan 1880, likely in Forest Grover, Oregon. They moved to Klickitat County, Washington in about 1885. Her maiden name is not known. They had no children. After her death in 1893, he married for a fourth time, to (unknown). He died in 1899, survived by his fourth wife. [Reference to Mary Lanman as his third wife on Ancestry.com have not been substantiated.
