Description	:	Daughter of John & Elizabeth Dorroh Sheldon; wife of William B. Glenn, married May 1910. Her obituary stated she died at her home in Liberty after an illness of one year. She was a graduate of Chicora College and spend several years teaching in both Pickens and Oconee counties. She became a member of the Presbyterian church at an early age, and after her marriage to William Glenn in 1910 she united with the Liberty Presbyterian church. Glenn, married May 1910. Her obituary stated she died at her home in Liberty after an illness of one year. She was a graduate of Chicora College and spend several years teaching in both Pickens and Oconee counties. She became a member of the Presbyterian church at an early age, and after her marriage to William Glenn in 1910 she united with the Liberty Presbyterian church. She served there as pianist and teacher of the youth Sunday School class as long as her health permitted, and also served as president of the Women’s auxiliary for several terms, and was historian at the time of her death. Her obituary went on to describe her as “prominent in all social and civic activities.” Survived by her husband; a daughter, Miss Margaret Glenn; a sister, Mrs. Wade Boggs; and three brothers, W. Frank Sheldon, Harry E. Sheldon, and J. Laurens Sheldon. Funeral services: Friday, January 30, 1942, Liberty Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. W.K. Maude and Dr. John C. Bailey.
