Born in Ffountain Inn, SC, she was the widow of Robert Clyde Willis, Sr. and a daughter of the late Robert C. and Eula Simmons Owings. She was a member of Dials United Methodist Church where she was an active member and had taught Sunday School for a number of years. Born in Ffountain Inn, SC, she was the widow of Robert Clyde Willis, Sr. and a daughter of the late Robert C. and Eula Simmons Owings. She was a member of Dials United Methodist Church where she was an active member and had taught Sunday School for a number of years. She graduated from Fountain Inn High School and Draughns Business College. She was a retired employee of the quality control department of Piedmont Industry. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are a step-daugter, Louise Patterson; two granddaughters, Jackie Willis, whom she lived with, and Jane Hunter; two grandsons, Ronnie Willis and Maxie Patterson; four great-grandchildren, Christina Willis, Tonya and Jimmy Yount, and Lisa Hunter; two great-great-grandchildren, Austin Willis and Graig Yount; a niece, Charlotte Crout; and a nephew, John H. Owings. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ethel Owings; a brother, Henry Owings; a sister-in-law, Mabel Owings; a step-son, Robert C. Willis, Jr.; and two grandsons, Danny and Ted C. Willis. Memorials may be made to Dials United Methodist Church, 164 Dials Church Rd., Gray Court, SC 29645 or to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
