Read More	OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - May 13, 1892 (published with permission) The many friends of Mary Susan Morse, nee Thompson, will be pained to learn of her sudden death, which occurred at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson, on West Canal Street at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning, of consumption. Deceased was born in Wabash May 29, 1860; was married March 13, 1883 at Greely, Colorado to Charles N. Morse. Besides her parents and several sisters and brothers who mourn their loss, the husband and two children are left to mourn the departure of a kind hearted, loving Christian wife and mother. Sue Thompson, as she was familiarly known to her friends in Wabash, joined the Methodist Episcopal Church at Chili, Miami County, in the winter of 1869-70. For the past few years Mr. and Mrs. Morse have lived at Crawford, Nebraska. When Mrs. Morse realized her time was short on earth she expressed a desire to come home, and it was a source of gratification both to her and her friends that her life was spared until she arrived here. Several times during the trip from her western home to Wabash she was so overcome by fainting spells that her husband was compelled to carry her to the door where the fresh air revived her. The funeral services took place from the residence of the deceased's parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Thompson on West Canal Street at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with Rev. W.J. Vigus officiating. #Burial in Falls Cemetery.
